Painting Life's Footstep's Photo Contest Finalist

Well, my first photo contest has come to an end. Alisha and I were very impressed with the creativity of the photos that were submitted. You guys went well beyond our expectations. There were 61 photo submissions, and well over 5300 votes cast! I'd say that was a very successful first competition. 

We had a few hiccups along the way, but hopefully it was an enjoyable experience for all. I’ll be holding more creative contests in the future, so here are some ways to follow me to stay in touch:

From these 10 Finalists, 3 winners will be drawn at random later in the week. I'll post the winners as well as send out an e-mail to all the contestants with the results. Alisha is eager to get started painting your shoes, and I'm excited about telling their story.


A reminder of the prizes:


ONE WINNER: Will receive a hand painted portrait of their shoes on a 12”x12” gallery wrapped canvas ($400 value) by Painting Life’s Footstep’s TM artist, Alisha K. Ard, along with a short story written about your shoes by Defying Procrastination’s very own Michael A. Walker. The story and painting will be featured together on a future post on Defying Procrastination to forever be immortalized on the World Wide Web.

TWO WINNERS: Will receive a hand painted portrait of their shoes on an 8”x 8” canvas board ($200 value) by Painting Life’s Footstep’s TM artist, Alisha K. Ard, along with a poem written by Defying Procrastination’s very own Michael A. Walker. The poem and painting will be featured together on a future post on Defying Procrastination to forever be immortalized on the World Wide Web.
